Lorraine Carol Snare, age 78, of Goldsboro, went to be with the Lord at 1:36 AM Friday, March 14, 2025, in the ICU of UPMC Memorial. She and her daughter held hands until the end. She was the wife of the late Adrian M. Snare.

Born January 28, 1947, in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late Henry Edward and Elizabeth Arlene (Steininger) Lingle. She was a member of Goldsboro Church of God where she set up a table for her knitted hats to be taken by anyone in need. She was a resident of the Margaret E. Moul Home, York, since April of 2023 where she befriended many residents and encouraged them in Christian faith. She was happiest when she was singing hymns and quoting life-giving scriptures to her fellow residents. She loved knitting, crochet and blessing others with donating her creations.  Lorraine was a volunteer for Careware, Morningstar Pregnancy Center, Caps for Kids and taught classes for Knitter’s Day Out.

Lorraine loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and wanted everyone she came in contact with to know the gospel and the gift of eternal life through Jesus’ work on the cross. She left her legacy of faith with not a good bye, but a “see you later.”

Lorraine is survived by a daughter, Suzanne M. Fisher, and her husband Chris, of York; friend, Patricia Bowman of Harrisburg; sister, Nancy A. Killinger of Palmyra; and sister-in-law and friend, Jacqueline van der Goes, of Harrisburg.

Funeral services to honor both Lorraine and Adrian Snare, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Goldsboro Church of God, 103 West Broadway, Etters, with Pastor Julie Dibble officiating. Private burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, is in charge of arrangements.
