Marlin D. Lehr, age 69, of Ware Shoals, South Carolina, formerly of New Freedom, died at 12:40 AM Friday, November 10, 2023, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina, as a result of injuries received in a motorcycle accident.
Born September 30, 1954, in New Freedom, a son of the late Russell and Frances Lehr, he was a retired truck driver.
Mr. Lehr is survived by, a daughter, Ashley Sipe, and husband Kelby of York Haven; a son, Troy L. Tyson, and his wife April, of Yoe; six grandchildren; three brothers, Richard Lehr, of York, Ronald Lehr, of Manchester, and Russell Lehr, Jr., of Red Lion; two sisters, Judy Gregory, of Florida, and Wanda Innerst, of Dallastown; and an adored niece, Lisa R. Lehr, of Potosi. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Lonnie, Charles, Donnie, and Gene Lehr; and four sisters, Faye Devoe, Joan Ritz, Shirley Schmidt, and Diane Hershner.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Sunday, November 19, 2023, at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, with Pastor Bernard Sigman, of Freedom Ministry Windsor, officiating.
