Martin Wagner Obituary

Martin Dennis Wagner was born on May 10, 1951, in Racine, Wisconsin.
Marty, as he was affectionately known by his close friends and loved ones,
lived for 69 years. He died on November 17, 2020.

Marty was preceded in death by his parents, John and Doris Wagner, as well
as his siblings, John Wagner and Bob Wagner.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Joann May Wagner. Also his children,
Martin Dennis Wagner, Jr., Melissa Ann Carrozza, Andrew James Wagner, and
Daniel Conrad Wagner. Granchildren, Martie Nicole Wagner, Collin James
Wagner, Jessica Lynn Wagner, Austin Owen Howard, Ty Stewart Carrozza,
Josie Lee Carrozza, Savannah Kay Wagner, Landan David Wagner, and
Maliyah Nichole Wagner, plus two great grandchildren, Owen Michael Howard
and Aurora Wagner. He is also survived by six siblings, Tom Wagner, Laura
Stauffer, Diane Grubbs, Jane Lewis, Sue Kane, and Tim Wagner.

Marty was a loving husband to his wife, always wanting to show her a good
time. He treasured being a father, eager to entertain his children with
activities such as roller-skating and football. Marty was a skilled sheet metal
craftsman who for many years owned his business. He loved to play golf and
was eager to teach his family, especially his grandchildren, how to hit the
ball. Listening to music, dancing, and singing were activities that he enjoyed
and he shared those loves with his family. Marty had a talent for making
people he cared about laugh, even when they didn’t feel like it.

Marty was one of the Jehovah’s Witnesses who attended the West York
congregation. He cherished his hope of living here on the earth once again
by means of a resurrection on the basis of Christ’s ransom sacrifice where he
will be reunited with his dear loved ones. His family eagerly looks forward to
seeing him again and being there with him. He will be deeply missed until
that time comes.

Memorial contributions may be made to Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s
Witnesses, 2601 Bannister Street, York, PA 17408.
