Mary P. Smith, age 66, of York, died at 7:21 AM Thursday, September 25, 2025, at her residence. She was the wife of Harrison H. Smith.

Born September 11, 1959, in Oneida, New York, she was a daughter of the late Edward A. and Catherine V. (Proctor) Washington.

In addition to her husband of 37 years, Mrs. Smith is survived by three daughters, La’Shay M. Smith, Tamika Jackson, and Brittany I. M. Smith three sons, Joseph M. Jackson, Clinton J. Jackson, and Harrison J. Smith; a step-daughter, Adrienne Smith; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four brothers, Gene, Aaron, Donnell, and Joseph; and six sisters, Avon, Linda, Sue, Darlene, Charlene, and Renita.

Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 PM Friday, October 3, 2025, at Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York. Viewing will be from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.
