Mary Lou Stough Obituary

Mary Lou Stough, age 90, of West Manchester Township, York, died at 9:13 PM Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Autumn House East. She was the wife of the late Paul J. Stough.


Born April 5, 1935, in York, a daughter of the late Raymond and Myra (Aughenbaugh) Lehr, she was a member of Saint Matthew Lutheran Church and had worked at Bell Telephone and The Bon Ton department store.


She enjoyed bowling, knitting, reading and spending time with family and friends. Mary Lou was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother with a kind and caring temperament.


Mrs. Stough is survived by two sons, Allen E. Stough, and his wife Teddianne, of Dover, and Rodney L. Stough, and his wife Carol, of Panama City, Florida; two grandsons, Steven Stough, and his wife Samantha, and Michael Stough, and his wife Megan; and three great grandchildren, Parker, Layla and Knox Stough. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and Warren Lehr; and two sisters, Madeline Smeigh and Faye Lehr.


Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, January 15, 2026, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 2150 Carlisle Road, York, with her Pastor, The Rev. Keith Fair officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.
