Mary Ann Wonders

Mary Ann Wonders, age 82, of Dover Township, York, entered into heaven on August 25, 2021 at Hospice & Community Care in Mount Joy. She was the loving and devoted wife of Richard E. Wonders, Sr.

Born April 22, 1939 in York, a daughter of the late Robert Naylor and the late Bertha (McDonald) Quickel, and was born again in 1968 while attending York Grace Brethren Church which had a direct impact on the lives of her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her loving and caring husband, Mary Ann Wonders is survived by a daughter, Diana L. Lewis, and her husband Rick, of York; a son, Richard E. Wonders, Jr. and his wife Sharon, of Windsor; a son in law, Michael Diehl, of Thomasville; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and two sisters, Donna James and Brenda Geisler. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Diehl; two brothers, John and Edward; and a sister, Annie Detweiler.

She will always be remembered by her words of encouragement and positive attitude. She touched many lives with her cards, notes, and letters and had a special way of making everyone feel loved and appreciated. She will be greatly missed here on earth but is celebrating with family and friends in heaven. In lieu of flowers, please honor her by sending a card of encouragement to someone today.

A memorial service will be private, with burial in Quickel Church Cemetery. William E. Little Funeral homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, is in charge of arrangements.
