Mary Jane Gay

Mary Jane Gay, age 96, of Spring Garden Township, York, died at 5:15 PM Saturday, October 2, 2021 at York Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Richard W. "Curly" Gay.

Born December 11, 1924, in York, she was the only child of the late Henry D. and Mary E. (Jacobs) Constantine.  She had worked as a teacher's aid for York Suburban School District for more than 20 years, and was a life member of Order of the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Gay is survived by a son, David V. Gay, of York; and a daughter, Eileen E. Connors, and her husband Gerald J. Connors, Jr., of Harrisburg.

A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, October 8, 2021 at Prospect Hill Cemetery, with The Rev. Bonnie Whittier officiating.  Guests are invited to gather at the Pennsylvania Avenue entrance to the Cemetery at 1:50 PM.  Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
