Matthew R. Carroll

Matthew R. Carroll, age 60, of Springettsbury Township, York, died at 8:42 PM Friday, November 18, 2022, at Wellspan York Hospital. He was the husband of Laurie (Huber) Carroll, to whom he was married to for 36 years, having met when working together at Princeton Medical Center.

Born July 26, 1962, in North Adams, Massachusetts, a son of the late Arthur Carroll, and the late Patricia (McGuire) Carroll, he was currently employed as a Foreman in Engineering for Wellspan for 23 years.

In addition to his wife Mr. Carroll is survived by a daughter, Amanda M. Leland, and her husband Alex, of York; a son, Patrick M. Carroll, of York; one grandson, Grayson Leland; and three brothers, Arthur J. Carroll, of Ewing, New Jersey, Michael P. Carroll, of Randolph, New Jersey, and Sean W. Carroll, of Long Beach, California.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, November 28, 2022, at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, with The Rev. Dr. Janice Jorgensen officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM. Burial will be in Paddletown Cemetery, Newberrytown.
