Matthew S. Clemens, age 34, of Jackson Township, Spring Grove, died Sunday, September 26, 2021, at his residence.
Born May 13, 1987, in York, he was a son of Barbara A. (Wildasin) Miller, and her husband Donald Miller, of Mount Wolf, and the late Harry Clemens. He was a 2005 graduate of Northeastern High School, and then served in the United States Navy for three years where he was a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Medal, and the Navy Sharpshooter Rifleman Medal. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, he was the drummer for Good Night Caulfield Band in San Diego, California for a number of years. Most recently he was employed at Yazoo Mills, in Hanover, and was the drummer for Meeting House Band.
Mr. Clemens is also survived by a daughter, Morgan Clemens, of Loganville; a son, Christopher Clemens, of Manchester; a brother, Brandon Clemens, of Pittsburgh; a sister, Bobbi Jo Worrell, and her husband Brett, of Carlisle; and his maternal grandparents, Harry and Shirley Wildasin, of York New Salem.
A graveside service is scheduled for 9:00 AM Monday, October 4, 2021 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, with full military honors. William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester is in charge of arrangements.
