The family of Michael Lee Beshore of Manchester Township, York, PA, is heartbroken to announce his passing at the age of 73, at his cherished farm. Mike will be deeply missed by his three children, four grandchildren, numerous relatives, and countless friends. If you knew Mike, you loved him.

Often found holding court at the local watering hole, “Mr. B.” was a natural entertainer, known for his unmatched sense of humor, sharp intellect, mischievousness, and extraordinary storytelling ability. Mike was generous in every way, especially with his time, knowledge, and heart.

Racing was a lifelong passion that Mike shared with his brothers, from late model cars to motorcycles, go-karts, and NASCAR. His love for racing never faded.

By trade, Mike was an estimator and project manager, but his true calling was as a historian. He was captivated by York County’s rich history. His Williamsburg-era home, adorned with antiques, reflected his love of collecting, showcasing everything from Civil War-era farming tools to treasures from his family dairy farm, as well as unique finds from local auctions.

Larger than life, Mike was charming and renowned for hosting the best parties. Friends will forever share stories of their summers with him at the farm, keeping his spirit alive in their memories. He was always dancing, singing, and spreading joy.

Mike’s poems, historical narratives, and family trees will continue to inspire those who knew him.  They will always serve as a testament to his endless curiosity and pursuit of happiness.

Growing up on the beautiful Conewago Farms in Manchester Township, Mike spent countless hours researching the families who lived in his home before him. He took great pride in his property, particularly his garden, where he found joy in every project, whether it was creating a garden railroad or harvesting enormous watermelons.

Michael is preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Debi (Dwyer) Beshore.  We know he is stirring things up in heaven as he is reunited with his family.  

His family and friends will gather to say their final goodbyes at 2:00 PM Monday, January 20, 2025, at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, with The Rev. Stanley Reep officiating.  Visitation will be 1-2:00 PM.  Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Livestream of services will be available at www.facebook.com/KuhnerAssociates
