Michael Lee Keller, age 82, of Spring Garden Township, York, PA, died on Friday, October 3, 2025. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Libby M. (Tirro) Keller.
Michael was born on September 23, 1943, in York, the son of the late Albert and Marcella (Hamme) Keller. During his childhood and teen years, he enjoyed hunting & fishing, horseback riding and dancing. He was a 1961 graduate of West York High school.
Mike first served in the U.S Air Force during the Vietnam War. While Mike was serving, he specialized in electronics and radio communications. Following his military service, Mike acquired Link Communications, a local York company which he owned and operated for 30 years until his retirement in 1998.
Mike was a larger-than-life character who enjoyed many outdoor adventures including international big game hunting which earned him several entries in Boone & Crockett. He served as an officer of Susquehannock Safari club. A true renaissance man, Mike was a member of the Standardbred Barbershop Chorus and the Cotillion Club of York, ballroom dancing group.
Mike and Libby enjoyed many happy years on his farm, Echo Cove, where Mike bred Weimaraner dogs and managed many acres of conservations fields. At Echo Cove, Mike loved riding his horses, hunting and entertaining his many friends and family.
Mike loved golfing and pickle ball and was a former member of the Out Door Country Club and Country Club of York.
Several years ago, Mike sold Echo Cove Farm, and he and Libby retired to Vero Beach, FL, where Mike was a member of Bent Pine Golf Club.
When Mikes life hit a bump in the road, he returned to York to be near his family and Friends.
In addition to his wife, Libby, Mike is survived by his brother, Steve Keller (Betty); his sister Raejean Sipes; his daughters Lori Ann Smith (Tom Pearl) and Tracy Lee Anderson (Mark); his son Troy Keller (Karen); His Granddaughter Nicole Troup (Ryan); grandsons, Joe Anderson (Amy) and Shane Anderson (Jennifer), Brandon Keller (Faith), and Drew Keller (Eliana); granddaughter Savannah Butler (Tucker); Stepsons, Anthony Tosti (Nancy) and Mark Tosti (Donna), and Grandchildren, Jake, Marlena, Nicholas and Ava Tosti; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mike also has been blessed with six great grandchildren; Jack; Virginia; Roen; Sophia; Michael and Atticus.
All are invited to attend a graveside ceremony to be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery, 6804 West Canal Road, Abbottstown, PA at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 10, 2025, with military rites presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
