Michael V. Kissel

Michael V. Kissel, age 61, of East Manchester Township, Mount Wolf, died at 8:15 PM Sunday, May 22, 2022 at the residence of his sister, Deborah R. Rodes, and her husband Darrell.

Born October 3, 1960 in York, he was the son of the late Clair V. “Jake” and Delores G. (Sipe) Kissel.  He had worked in maintenance for Blaine Rentzel for more than 40 years, and was a member of the Wago Club

Mr. Kissel is survived by a son, Kody Kissel, of Mount Wolf; and three sisters, Deborah R. Rodes, and her husband Darrell, of Mount Wolf, Peggy J. Ely, of York Haven, and Traci L. Bupp, and her husband Sterling “Ed” Bupp, of Manchester. 

A graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 PM Sunday, May 29, 2022 at Prospect Hill Cemetery.  Guests are invited to gather at the Pennsylvania Avenue entrance to the Cemetery at 12:50 PM.  William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the York County SPCA, 3159 North Susquehanna Trail, York PA 17406.
