Michael L. Leiphart

Michael L. Leiphart, age 75, of Springettsbury Township, York, died at 6:28 AM Monday, September 14, 2026, at his residence. He was the husband of Jacalyn J. “Jackie” Poe.

Born October 13, 1950, in York, he was a son of the late Philip S. Leiphart, Jr. and Betty R. (Snyder) Leiphart. He served in the United States Army in Vietnam and retired from Precision Components.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Leiphart is survived by two daughters, Sara A. Minnich, of York, and Carrie L. Poe, of Elizabethtown; three grandchildren, Sebastion, Skye, and Madison; and two sisters, Mary Case, and Ruth Ann Freed. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM Friday, September 25, 2026, at Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York. Military honors will be presented at 2:00 PM, provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.

The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice Care and Mr. Leiphart’s nurses, Sarah, Lexi, and Selina.
