Morton C. Feder, Jr. went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
on April 3, 2021. Mort was the son of the late Morton C. and Kathryn
(McIntyre) Feder. He is survived by his wife of over 61 years, Ruth (Keyser);
son Marty and his wife, Alison; and their daughter, Victoria, and daughter
Abigail Kirkpatrick and her husband, Kyle, who are expecting the first great grandson in
July; son Rand and his wife Barbie, and their daughters Peyton and Macy;
and a sister, Elizabeth. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Patricia
A 1959 graduate of Elizabethtown College, Mort was a partner with Miller &
Co., CPA’s for 35 years, after which he gave his time and talents to teaching
accounting at Lancaster Bible College for 15 years and providing financial
counseling to many. He served on the Board of Christian School of York and
the Elder Board of Faith Bible Fellowship Church (now Grace Community
Church) and taught an adult Sunday School class.
Mort loved to travel and work in his garden, but most of all, he loved
spending time with his family. Even in his suffering, he was unfailingly
cheerful and polite, never failing to acknowledge and show gratitude for the
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 PM Saturday, April 10, 2021 at
Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York,
with Pastor Shan D. Cleck, officiating. Visitation will be 1-2:30 PM. Private
burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
