Nannette Lofts, age 59, of Seven Valleys, PA, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025.

Born on March 20, 1966, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Nannette was a daughter of Aida Iris Ramirez and the late Heriberto Castro.  She is survived by her loving husband of 11 years, Christopher Lofts. She also leaves behind her sister Jeanette Pleinus her husband Kurt, and their son Cesar Diaz.

Pursuing her lifelong dream of becoming a Registered Nurse(RN), Nannette graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She served as an RN in the United States Air Force from 1991 to 1996 and was honorably discharged with the rank of Captain. Over the course of her career, she worked in hospital Medical/Surgery units, and various Critical Care areas such as Neonatal ICU, the Emergency Department, and the Operating Room. From Jan 2001 to May 2002, she also served as a Worker Compensation Nurse Case Manager just before beginning her career at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in June of 2002 where she has served in a variety of roles applying her extensive knowledge, and nursing experience for over 28 years.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, PA 17403, with Nightingale Tribute presented by the York County White Rose Nurse Honor Guard at 11:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Patient Help Fund, 2500 South George Street, York, PA 17401.
