Naomi "Peep" Gentzler (Rebert) Duncan

Naomi “Peep” Gentzler (Rebert) Duncan, age 92, of Windsor Township, Red Lion, died at 4:45 AM Monday August 31, 2026, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Howard H. Duncan, Jr.

Born November 30, 1933, in York, she was one of thirteen children of the late Martin and Clara (Spangler) Gentzler. She was a 1952 graduate of West York High School and retired as Administrative Department Head of McCrory’s Distribution after 30 years of employment. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, and a life member of West York VFW Auxiliary and Shiloh American Legion Auxiliary.

Mrs. Duncan is survived by a son, Donald E. Rebert, Jr., and his fiancé Sandra Blevins; a step granddaughter, Michelle Altland; and a step great granddaughter, Heather Gibbs. She was also preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Linda Altland; a stepson, Geary Duncan; seven sisters, Dolly Bonaduci, Thelma Ruth, Fairy Plank, Matilda Gentlzer, Sarah Hoskin, Esther Livingston, and Beatrice Seiple; and five brothers, William, Charles, Robert, Stuart, and George Gentzler.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, with her Pastor, Sarah Hinlicky Wilson, officiating. Viewing will be from 9:00-10:00 AM. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery.
