Neil R. Stough

Neil R. Stough, age 76, of York, died at 1:41 AM Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at Wellspan York Hospital. He was the husband of Joann (Yoxheimer) Stough.

Born July 26, 1946, in York, a son of the late Neil B. and Ethel (Stevenson) Stough, he was a retired roofer and crane operator.

In addition to his wife of 56 years, Mr. Stough is survived by a daughter, Jamie L. Zink, and her fiancé Ray Kuba, of Wellsville; a son, John R. Stough, of East Berlin; a grandson, Alexander J. Stough; and three sisters, Sherry Billet, of Yoe, Judy Crouse, and Darlene Dennis, both of York. He was also preceded in death by a brother, James Stough, and three sisters, Nancy Rinehart, Charlotte Swartz, and Sandra Stough.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, February 2, 2023, at Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.
