Norma J. Wolf

Norma J. Wolf, age 84, of York Township, Red Lion, died Thursday, April 6, 2023, at her residence. She was the wife of the late John W. Wolf, Jr., and former wife of the late William C. Hengst.

Born July 29, 1938, in York, she was a daughter of the late Millard and Luella (Sterner) Raffensberger. She had worked for Doespun and McCrory’s Distribution as a shipping clerk and, was a member of Friedensaal Lutheran Church in Seven Valleys.

Mrs. Wolf is survived by two sons, Bradley L. Hengst, and his wife Rainey, of Mountville, and Barry W. Hengst, and his wife Terri, of York; a daughter, Beverly J. Frederick, and her husband Christopher, of Wrightsville; five grandchildren, Michael J. Frederick, Christian J. Frederick, Brittany Hengst, Nicole Hengst, and Jontra Marquardt; a brother, Larry Raffensberger, of Manchester; and two sisters, Edna Mae Graser and Rosalie Grim, both of Red lion. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Jacey R. Hengst; and two sisters, Darlene Raffensberger and Loretta Jackson.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Friday, April 14, 2023, at Friedensaal Lutheran Church, 9138 White Church Road, Seven Valleys, with her Pastor, The Rev. Douglas DeStephano, officiating. Viewing will be 10-11:00 AM. Burial will be at Salem Union Cemetery, Jacobus. Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
