Patricia Naftzger Obituary

Patricia Ann Naftzger, age 82, of York, died peacefully at her home at the Spirit Trust Lutheran Village of Kelly Drive. She was the wife of the late Norman E. Naftzger.

Born June 21, 1938 in Cly, a daughter of the late Harvey and Lillie (Cosey) Lowery, she retired in 1998 as an Auditor for the PA Department of Revenue.

Mrs. Naftzger is survived by two daughters, Pamela A. Intrieri, and her husband Clarence Intrieri, of York Haven, and Susan A. Lease, and her husband Dr. James Lease, of York; four grandchildren, Amy Krisko, Ryan Intrieri, Jennifer Blackford, and Brittany Lease; seven great-grandchildren, Connor, Lily, Logan, Parker, Tanner, Amelia and Sammy; and two sisters, Shirley Monroe of York, and Lois Moody of Goldsboro.

Throughout her life Pat was a long-time volunteer of the York County Democratic committee, President of the AARP York Chapter, served on altar guild at Christ Lutheran Church, and volunteered at Memorial and York Hospitals.

She enjoyed crafting, BINGO, and spending time with her friends and family. She loved all holidays, especially Christmas, and adored her family. Her sweet, caring nature, pure spirit, and ability to make anyone feel welcome will be steadfastly remembered by those closest to her.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Christ Lutheran Church, 29 South George Street, York, with her Pastor, The Rev. Dr. Alan J. Watt, officiating. A reception with the family will immediately follow.   Burial will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Prospect Hill Cemetery. Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 29 South George Street, York, PA 17401, SpiriTrust Lutheran, 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, York, PA 17404, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
