Patricia Ann Shaffer

Patricia A. Shaffer, age 86, York, died at 6:22 PM Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Albert H. Shaffer.

Born November 8, 1939, in York, she was a daughter of the late George F. and Dorothy R. (Smith) Naylor. She was an office worker for Orinoka Mills and retired from DynCorp International. She graduated from William Penn High School in 1957 and was a member of Vigilant Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and State Firemen’s Association Auxiliary.

Mrs. Shaffer is survived by a daughter, Peggy S. Shaffer, of York; a granddaughter, Amanda Skipper, and her husband Chad Funk; and a great grandson, Ryder Funk. She was also preceded in death by a son, Albert H. Shaffer, Jr.; and a sister Janet Gentzler.

A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Mount Rose Cemetery, 1502 Mt Rose Ave, York, PA 17403, with Mr. Julian Dunnick officiating. Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
