Patsy A. Tyson, age 83, of West Manchester Township, York, died at 12:44 AM Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Country Meadows of York – West. She was the wife of the late Jacob K. Tyson.

Born February 2, 1943, in Landsdale, Montgomery County, she was a daughter of the late Leslie E. Blackledge and the late Doris M. (David) Williams.  She had been employed in Human Resource Administration and worked for Greene Tweed, Moyer Packaging and Boyd’s Bears, and attended West York Church of the Brethren.

Mrs. Tyson is survived by a son, Douglas J. Tyson, and his wife Beth, of York; a daughter, Wendy S. Currey, and her husband Scott, of Glenville; seven grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, Jonathan, McKayla, Kailey, Mason, and Connor; her twin sister, Peggy A. Diehl; and an additional sister, Donna L. Krout.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Friday, July 10, 2026, at West York Church of the Brethren, 5101 Darlington Road, York, with The Rev. Richard Godfrey officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM. Burial is scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, July 10, 2026, in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 2150 Carlisle Road, York, is in charge of arrangements.
