Paul L. C. McKinney, Jr., age 80, of York, entered the Gates of
Heaven on Monday, January 4, 2021 at UPMC Memorial.
Born July 17, 1940 in York, he was a son of the late Paul L.C.
and Ruth (Fogle) McKinney. He was a graduate of William
Penn High School, and then served in the US Army during
the Vietnam War. He was a retired automobile mechanic,
and had worked at Fred Gregg Buick, J.M. Field, and most
recently Pep Boys. He was a member of several social clubs,
and enjoyed hunting, fishing and sports, especially football.
Mr. McKinney is survived by a son, Paul L.C. McKinney, III,
and his wife Michelle; two daughters, Paula B. Wlazlo, and her
husband Darek, and Brenda S. Bentz, and her husband
Anthony, all of York; eight grandchildren; eight great
grandchildren; and three brothers, Wayne and James
McKinney, of York, and Steven McKinney, of Wrightsville. He
was also preceded in death by four sisters, Yvonne, Faye,
Delores, and Kathy; and two brothers, Art and Edward.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 PM Tuesday, January
12, 2021, at The Semmel Chapel of Workinger Semmel
Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York.
Viewing will be 12:30-1:30 PM. Burial will be in Prospect Hill
Cemetery, with military rites presented by the York County
Veterans Honor Guard.
