Pauline Brillhart Obituary

Pauline A. Brillhart, age 99, of York, died at 1:47 PM Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Inners Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was the wife of the late Sherman E. Brillhart.

Born December 7, 1924, in York, the daughter of the late Jesse R. and Mabel V. (Horner) Lawrence, she retired from McCrory’s Distribution Center after 24 years, and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Viking Athletic Association and the YWCA women’s swimming group.

Mrs. Brillhart is survived by three daughters, Pamela R. Mitchell, and her husband James, of York, Nancy A. Harold, and her husband Roger, of Fairfax, Virginia, and Carolyn S. Loucks, and her husband Douglas, of York, six grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 PM Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Zion Lutheran Church, 2215 Brandywine Lane, York, with The Rev. Dr. Janyce Jorgensen officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-1:30 PM. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, 2215 Brandywine Ln, York, PA 17404 and YWCA Women’s Swimming Group, 320 East Market Street, York, PA 17403.
