Peggy E. Cox

Peggy E. Cox, age 71, of West Manchester Township, York, died at 1:30 AM Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at her son’s residence.

Born May 21, 1950 in York, a daughter to the late James and Marian (Alwood) Gibney, she was a 1968 graduate of West York High School, and a 1993 graduate of Yorktowne Business Institute. She was retired from Memorial Hospital where she had worked in Medical Billing.

Ms. Cox is survived by a daughter, Tammy L. Atkins (Timothy), of Thomasville; a son, P. Daniel Einsig (Rhonda),of York; an adopted daughter, Shirl Bui (Phuc), of Manheim; four grandchildren, Jessica Mann (Adam),  Corey Wenschhof (Elizabeth), Brittany Wenschhof, and Byron Atkins;  her first great grandchild, Archer,  expected in June; a sister, Susan Sterner (James), of York; three brothers, Michael Gibney (Susan), of Maine, James Gibney, Jr. (Sandra), of York, and Richard Gibney (Tammy), of York.

A visitation is scheduled for 5-7:00 PM Friday, January 28, 2022 at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 2150 Carlisle Road, York.
