Phyllis Auerbach Lipsitz

Phyllis Auerbach Lipsitz, age 95, of York Township, York, died at 2:29 AM Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Autumn House East. She was the wife of the late Stuart F. Auerbach and the late Sheldon Lipsitz.

Born April 11, 1931, in Brooklyn, New York, she was a daughter of the late David and Eva (Schneider) Raises. She was a member of Ohev Sholom Congregation, retired from Visiting Nurses Association of York, where she worked as the Office Administrator for 30 years.

She is survived by a son, Marc A. Auerbach, of Tucson, Arizona; a daughter, Jody G. Auerbach, of Vancouver, Washington; three grandsons, Alex, Ezra, and Ari; and three great grandchildren, Zosia, Wiley, and Zachary. She was also preceded in death by two sisters.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Friday, July 17, 2026, at Temple Beth Israel, 2090 Hollywood Drive, York, with Rabbi Melody Davis officiating. Burial will be in South Hill Hebrew Cemetery. A reception with the family will immediately follow.
