Ralph R. Null, Jr., ”Mr. Chevrolet”, age 82, of Lower Windsor Township, York, died at 11:45 PM, on Thursday, November 4, 2021, at his residence. He was the husband of Joyce E. (Nauman) Null.
Born July 1, 1939, in York, the son of the late Ralph R. Null, Sr. and Arlene Husson, he served in the United States Marines and was retired from Motter Printing Press (KBA North America). He was also member of Chapel Church in Red Lion. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting, team bowling, and swimming. He was a Red Cross water safety instructor, part of Camp Tuckahoe water safety staff, and a life guard at Pleasureville Pool. In his later years he enjoyed NASCAR, loved old cars and trucks, was past President of White Rose Classic Chevy Club, past Vice President of antique car club York, a member of First Capital Cruisers, American Tri Five Association, O.F.C, and owned several old cars and trucks. In addition to his wife of 43 years, Mr. Null is survived by three children, Chad B. Null of York, Edward B. Harman of Wrightsville and Brock J. Null of Red Lion; a sister, Donna M. Barshinger; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He is also preceded in death by his first wife, Caroline K. (Shue) Null and his daughter Shari J. Null.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at The Semmel Chapel of Workinger Semmel Funeral Home and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, with Pastor Joshua Wargo officiating. Viewings will be from 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday and 1:00-2:00 PM Wednesday. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery with full military rites presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.
