Ray D. Aldrich, Jr., age 72, of Newberry Township, Manchester, died at 10:15 PM Thursday, March 19, 2026, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Gloria J. (Stiffler) Aldrich, and companion of ten years of Lucy J. (Van Dyke) Geisecke.
Born April 13, 1953, in York, he was a son of the late Ray D. Aldrich, Sr. and the late Mary E. (Platts) Aldrich. He retired as a truck driver, most recently driving for JP Donmoyer, Inc. and, prior to that for Ray L. Brandt. He attended Bethany Baptist Church and was a member of the Wago Club and the National Rifle Association.
Mr. Aldrich is also survived by a daughter, Amy R. Aldrich-Pick, and her husband, Paul, of Manchester; three grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Kylie, and Gage; two great grandchildren, Kinsley and Leighton; a brother, Fred G. Aldrich, and his wife, Deb, of Mount Wolf, and his children, Alicia and Nathan; Lucy’s children, Lori, Angela, and Dennis, all of Georgia; and her twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Ray was a Pepa to many.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Thursday, March 26, 2026, at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, with Pastor Patrick Scarborough officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
