Rhoda Klinek

Rhoda Klinek, age 91, of York Township, York, died at 7:00 PM Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Country Meadows of York South. She was the wife of the late Murray M. Klinek.

Born November 3, 1934, in Kings Park, New York, the daughter of the late Max and Betty Bernstein. She graduated from New York University with a Master’s in Education. She taught elementary school and after her daughters were born she worked with her husband in their family-owned dry-cleaning business in Mamaroneck, New York.

Mrs. Klinek is survived by three daughters, Jan Cardin, and her husband Andy, of Owings Mills, Maryland, Dr. Michelle Weiss, and her husband Martin, of York, and Debra Lansberry, and her husband Geoff, of Cambridge, Massachusetts; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Temple Beth Israel, 2090 Hollywood Drive, York, with Rabbi Marshal Klaven officiating. Burial will be in South Hill Hebrew Cemetery. Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
