Richard K. Brubaker, age 87, of Dover Township, Dover, died Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Andrea (Noggle) Brubaker.
Born August 12, 1934, in Lancaster, a son of the late Richard H. and Helen F. (Kirk) Brubaker, he was a 1952 graduate of Eichelberger High School, and served in the US Army. He worked as a millwright for both National Canning Company and James Craft & Son. Richard served the Hanover-area community for 15+ years as a baseball coach for the Exchange Club in the Hanover Area Small Fry League and later, along with his wife Andrea, as a tournament organizer for the league.
Mr. Brubaker is survived by three sons, Edward F. Adams, Jr. (Lorraine) of Shiloh, Richard N. Brubaker (Tanya) of York, and Kirby A. Brubaker (Kimberly) of Manchester; a daughter, Melissa L. Bair (Thomas) of Dover; grandchildren, Andrew (Julissa), Marissa, Loganne (Benjamin), Katie, Jackie, Joe, Josh, Raymond (Rainbow), Matthew, Erin, Richard, Halana, Matthew D., Nathanial, Dustin, Angie (Jimmy), and Shawn (Brittany); and great grandchildren, Evalynn, Rihlyn, Camila, Khyson, Andres, Andrea, Riley, Wesley, Aubrey, Macy, Harmony, Brody, Karter, Wendy, Pepper, Ginger, Cameron, Owen, Gracie Lynn, Allyanna, Nicky, Alexis, Greyson, Desirae, A.J, Kaylee, Kiera, and Rylin. He was also preceded in death by a son, Jamie K. Brubaker; and a sister, Barbara Bergman.
