Richard L. Bussard

Richard Lee Bussard, age 81, of Chanceford Township, Felton, died at 4:25 PM Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Wellspan York Hospital.  He was the husband of Karen M. (Forney) Bussard.  The couple had been together for 50 years.

Born September 25, 1942, in Everett, the son of the late Percy and Effie (Weimer) Bussard, he was retired from Olin (previously Flinchbaugh) after 20 years of employment and, prior to that, had worked as a truck driver for 10 years.  In his free time, he loved going to his mountain retreat, spending time among all of the animals.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Bussard is survived by his children, Valarie L. Smith, Ricky D. Bussard, Teresa A. Hasting, and Sabrena L. Musselman; two sisters, Dorothy Bollman, and Doris Zimmerman; and his beloved Chihuahua, Gizmo Lee.
