Richard M. Grotkier, age 72, of Spring Garden Township, York, died at 9:50 PM Saturday, December 13, 2025, at his residence.

Born February 19, 1953, in Rochester, New York, he was a son of the late Thomas and Gladys (Grotkier) Porcelli. He was retired as a Senior Radio Frequency Engineer and was a life member of the National Rifle Association. He also served in the US Navy from 1977-1983.

Mr. Grotkier is survived by a daughter, Lily Grotkier, of York; a son, Johann M. Grotkier, and his fiancé April Lund, of Portland, Oregon; and four grandchildren, Eris, Richard, III, Loki, and Opal. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Porcelli.

Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of private funeral arrangements. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
