Robert G. Bortner

Robert G. Bortner, age 95, of Lewisburg, formerly of York,
died at 12:28 PM Sunday, January 3, 2021 at RiverWoods
Senior Living in Lewisburg. He was the husband of the late
Helen Boney Bortner, and the late Dorothy (Artman) Bortner.

Born September 1, 1925 in Glen Rock, one of seven children
of the late Claude O. and Bessie (Black) Bortner, he was a US
Navy veteran and was retired from Lyon Metal Products.
Mr. Bortner is survived by three sons, Michael B. Bortner, and
his wife Carolyn, of Glen Rock, Patrick A. Bortner, and his
wife Tina, of Steubenville, Ohio, and Robert P. Bortner, and
his wife Susan, of House Springs, Missouri; a daughter, Diana
L. Peters, and her husband Cecil, of Seven Valleys; 10
grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and four great great
grandchildren.

Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East
Market Street, York, is in charge of private services with
burial in Kreutz Creek Cemetery.
