Robert E. Gromling, age 70, of Newberry Township, Manchester, died at 2:30 AM Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at his residence. He was the 31-year companion of Melissa S. Brillhart.

Born November 20, 1954, in York, he was a son of the late Herman E. and Joan Y. (Smeltzer) Gromling.  He had worked for Stewart and Tate Construction and was a member of the Wago Club and Lake Clark River Rescue.

Mr. Gromling is also survived by a sister, Jeane M. Kerr, and her husband Stephen, of Dover; and a brother, David Gromling, and his wife Carol, of Paoli, Kansas.
