Robin Lynn (Adams) Pflieger passed away peacefully at her home in Glen Rock, PA on Monday, January 17, 2022, age 51, after a courageous battle with cancer.
At only 51 her life may seem too short, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she lived.
Above all, Robin was a devoted and loving mother to her two young children; Jordan Pflieger (age 19), and Maxwell Pflieger (age 17). The life lessons she taught them, the example she set for them, and the unconditional love she showed them have given them the ability to grow into wonderful, loving adults.
Robin graduated from Spring Grove High School, earned an athletic training degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Delaware. She worked as a physical therapist for HealthSouth, WellSpan, and Alliance Rehab before opening her own practice, Core Connections Physical Therapy, in 2018. For those fortunate enough to be a patient, they received care unparalleled to any other. Robin possessed remarkable skill and took great pride in being a healer.
In her free time, Robin enjoyed gardening, shell hunting at the beach, and driving around in her old bug. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in York, PA.
In addition to her children, Robin is survived by her loving husband, James Pflieger; parents, Norman and Virginia Adams; sisters, Carol (Michael) Popernack and Sindy (Christopher) Watson.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, with The Rev. Dr. B. Michael Brossman officiating. Visitations will be 5-7:00 PM Friday and 1-2:00 PM Saturday. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made in Robin’s honor to the charity of your choice.
