Rodney A. Tusing, age 60, of Springfield Township, Seven Valleys, died at 3:37 PM Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at his residence.

Born March 17, 1966, in York, he was a son of the late Richard C. and Joyce E. (Harbold) Tusing, and stepson of the late Wilson N. “Willy” Hostetter. He was a member of Freedom Biker Church, and was a well-known drummer, beginning in the school band, and more recently with the bands Church of Love, Rock Hollow and Out of Nowhere.

Mr. Tusing is survived by a daughter, Tara Tusing, of York; a son, Jerimy Tusing, of York; two grandchildren; and two brothers, Michael E. Tusing, and his wife Jackie, of Manchester, and Richard C. Tusing, and his wife Donna, of South Dakota. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Lori Fife.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
