Roma V. Miller

Manchester Township - Roma V. Miller, age 99, of Manchester Township, York, died at 5:05 AM Friday, April 5, 2021, at SpiriTrust Lutheran in the Village at Sprenkle Drive. She was the wife of the late Allen Leroy Miller.

Born October 18, 1921, in Cly, she was the only child of the late Park E. and Ruth (Peters) Stoner. A 1939 graduate of William Penn High School, she retired in 1983 from P.W. Strickland Associates, where she had worked as a bookkeeper for 30 years, and prior to that had worked at AB Farquhar Company, and the Commerce Department in Washington DC. She had been an active member of Christ E.U.B. Church, and Saint Paul's United Methodist Church and, most recently, Calvary United Methodist Church. She was a former a former member of York Area Rose Society; and the American Business Women's Association, Forge Hills Chapter.

She and her husband loved to travel and just being together. She loved gardening, and especially her roses, with her favorite being the Peace Rose.

A graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 15, 2021, at Prospect Hill Cemetery, with her Pastor, The Rev. Dr. B. Michael Brossman, officiating. Guests are invited to gather at the Pennsylvania Avenue entrance to the Cemetery. Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
