Romaine M. Diffenderfer Bowman, age 90, of York, died at 10:30 PM Friday, April 15, 2022 at Pleasant Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Brady Bowman, and the late Donald Diffenderfer.
Born May 4, 1931 in York, the daughter of the late Clarence Jacob Wagner, and the late Tillie (Keiser) Wagner, she had worked as a waitress.
She is survived by a son, Bruce Diffenderfer, of York; three daughters, Pam Stabley (Wes), of Manchester, Kim Aldinger (Stu), of York, and Janet Shelley (Tom), of Seven Valleys; nine grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Quance.
Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York is in charge of private funeral services.
