Ronald L. Smeltzer

Ronald L. Smeltzer, age 79, of Manchester Township, York, died at 10:20 PM Thursday, August 28, 2025, at UPMC Harrisburg.

Born February 3, 1946, in York, the son of the late Elwood J. and Mary J. (Hoffman) Smeltzer, he retired from Frank Electric Corporation where he worked as a metal fabricator.

Mr. Smeltzer is survived by a daughter, Ashley L. Schuback, and her husband Stephen, of Pawleys Island, South Carolina; three grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, and Eliza Schuback; a sister, Connie Morningstar, of York; and his companion of 15 years, Barb Linsey, of York.
