Ronald H. Wettstein, age 83, of Newberry Township, Dover, PA was called home to Heaven on Friday, January 6, 2023 at his residence. He was the husband of Linda S. (Wright) Wettstein.
Born January 6, 1940, in Millville, New Jersey, he was a son of the late Carlton and Carolyn (Godfrey) Wettstein. He graduated from Millville High School in 1959, and then served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. Brother Ron was a graduate of Liberty Baptist College and Hyles-Anderson College. He served the Lord as a Sunday School Teacher and oversaw the Bus Ministries for several churches throughout his life. Additional ministries include Young Couples, Senior Citizen (Best Years Club), Soul-Winning (Outreach), and Principal for 3 Christian Schools (Port Huron, MI, Ephrata, PA, York, PA).
He was the Assistant Pastor of Bible Baptist Church in York, PA for 23 years prior to serving as the interim Pastor for Roundtown Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, Ron is survived by four daughters, Cynthia A. Holbert (Jerry) and Deanna L. Graiff (Ray), both from Vineland, New Jersey, Shannon B. Lettich (Jason) of York, and Tara Grace Negley (Timothy) of Shippensburg; a son, Ronald H. Wettstein, Jr., of Bethel; 17 grandchildren, Rachel, Michael, Christina, Andrew, Raymond, Collin, Dulcinea, Angel, Dominic, Leonardo, Katelyn, Bailee, Lauren, Andrew, Renata, Abel, and Jude: four great grandchildren; two brothers, Richard and Donald Wettstein; and a sister, Carol Lemos. He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Natalie; and a brother, Raymond Wettstein.
Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 PM Monday, January 16, 2023, at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 5005 Carlisle Rd, Dover, with his Pastor, Joseph Moore officiating. Viewing will be 10-12:00 PM. The service will be available via live stream at: lighthousebap.org. Burial will be 10:00 AM Tuesday at Parkville Cemetery, Dover. William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, will oversee the arrangements.
