Rosa Nieves, age 70, of York, died at 12:08 Am Thursday, March 12, 2026, at her residence.

Born February 19, 1956, in San Sabastian, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Juan Nieves Ortiz and the late Laura Galarza Nieves.

Ms. Nieves is survived by two sons, Rolando Nieves, and Wesley Canini; two daughters, Elizabeth Gomez, and Evelina Putt; seven grandchildren, Melissa Alamo, Daisy Rivera, Aniyah Nieves, Xavier Nieves, Jose Cofresi, Briseis Putt, and David Putt; six great grandchildren, Ny’lasia Orr, Destiny Orr, De’Andre Vasquez, Marquez Vasquez, Braiden Vasquez, and Celeste Fountain; three sisters, Diana Nieves, Carmen Nieves, and Nereida Vera; and a brother, Pedro Vera.

Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 PM Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, with Pastor Mark Putt and his wife, Evelina, officiating. Viewing will be from 2:00-4:00 PM.
