Rosalind Gertler, age 101, of North Codorus Township, York, died at 10:45 AM Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Bob Gertler.

Born November 4, 1924, Bronx, New York, a daughter of the late Sam and Regina (Stieglitz) Ganzfried, she was retired as a bookkeeper for a travel agency in New York.

Mrs. Gertler is survived by two sons, Richard D. “Rick” Gertler, and his husband Erdal, of York, and Donald B. Gertler, and his wife Susan, of Teaneck, New Jersey; four daughters, Betty G. Waters, and her husband Carl, of Parkton, Maryland, Sharri D. Gertler, of College Park, Maryland, Jacy P. Haas, and her husband Robert, of Keymar, Maryland, and Michelle L. Long, and her husband James, of Colonial Heights, Virginia; fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-six great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Gustav, Lester, and Bernard Ganzfried; and two sisters, Blanche Caroff, and Evelyn Ganzfried.

Funeral services will be private, with burial in Wellwood Cemetery, in Long Island, New York. Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
