Roy E. Drawbaugh, age 93, of York, died at 12:48 AM Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Normandie Ridge. He was the husband of the late Joyce L. (Dietz) Drawbaugh.

Born October 8, 1930, in York, he was a son of the late John J. and Maude M. (Toomey) Drawbaugh.  He retired in 1991 as co-owner of the former Ettline Foods Corporation after 42 years.  He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, where he served as a member and past president of its Consistory, and where he also served as an Elder and Sunday School Teacher.  He was a member of the Out Door County Club, Springettsbury Lions Club, National Rifle Association, and York Riflemen. He had also served in the National Guard from 1949-1962.

Mr. Drawbaugh is survived by two daughters, Sharon K. Clark, of Harrisburg, and Beth A. Schwartz, of Thomasville; four grandchildren, Alan W. Clark, and his wife Leanne, Andrew R. Clark, and his wife Snjezana, Emma L. Schwartz, and her husband Joshua Ladasky, and Samuel L. Schwartz; and five great grandchildren, Madison, Emilia, Aiden, Wyatt and Stella Clark.  He was also preceded in death by seven sisters, Fannie Hildebrand, Grace Geiselman, Mary Peters, Mildred Moore, Hazel Fink, Almina Albright, Charlotte Bolton, and Anna Marie Drawbaugh; three brothers, John J. Drawbaugh, Jr., Robert E. Drawbaugh, and William L. Drawbaugh; and his two sons-in-law, James Schwartz, and Gregory Clark.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, October 11, 2024, at Zion United Church of Christ, 100 Lafayette Street, York, with The Reverend Peter Seiler officiating. Viewing will be from 9:00-10:00 AM. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Livestream of services will be available at www.facebook.com/KuhnerAssociates
