Roy A. McClane, Jr.

Roy A. McClane, Jr., age 53, of Newberry Township, Dover, died at 9:21 PM Saturday, March 28, 2026, at his residence.

Born September 21, 1972, in York, a son of Deanna (Grossman) Sheaffer and the late Roy A. McClane, Sr., he worked for Dr. Pepper and Snapple and was an avid University of Alabama Crimson Tide fan.

In addition to his mother, Mr. McClane is survived by four sons, Devin A. McClane, of Spring Grove, Levi R. McClane, of Oregon, Dustin K. McClane, of York Haven, and Christopher McClane, of Spring Grove; four daughters, Brandy E. McClane, of Missouri, Alexus K. McClane, of Oregon, Shakira D. McClane, of Oregon, and Lillian McClane, of Oregon; a granddaughter, Shayly McClane; two brothers, Eric E. McClane, and Patrick S. McClane. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Troy A. McClane, and Bruce E. McClane.

A graveside service is scheduled for 12:00 PM Friday, April 3, 2026, at Mount Zion Cemetery, 3101 Deininger Road, York. William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, is in charge of arrangements.
