Ruth R. Crumling

Ruth R. Crumling, age 96, of Red Lion, died at 8:10 AM, Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Hospice and Community Care Mount Joy. She was the wife of the late John H. Crumling, Sr. and the late Russell E. Spyker.

Born July 11, 1925, in York, the daughter of the late John H. and Ruth A. (Ruby) Winand, she was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Mrs. Crumling is survived by her step children, Donald Crumling (Stella), Kenneth Crumling (Gail), William Crumling (Sandra), Linda Wolfe (Charles), Curvin Crumling (Jamie), Susan Frey and Robert Spyker (Sally), and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her two children, David E. Spyker and Cynthia A. Grim, and her stepchildren, Terry Crumling, Dennis Crumling, Norma Metzger and John H. Crumling, Jr.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, January 7, 2022 at Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York with the Reverend Dr. Larry Covin officiating. Viewing will be 9-10:00 AM. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
