Sage P. Warfel

Sage P. Warfel, age 24, of York, was called home by Jesus to sing with the angels on Monday, January 17, 2022.  

Born March 4, 1997 in York, he was a son of Garth P. Warfel (Betsy), of York Haven, and Athena M. Smith, of Mount Wolf, he was employed at Snyder’s Fencing.

In addition to his parents, Sage is survived by his maternal grandparents, Gwen McFadden, and her husband Sean, of York, and David Smith, of Pittsburgh; paternal grandparents, Linda Stover, and her husband Robert, of York, and George Warfel, of York; and a brother, Brandon Ritter, of Mount Wolf.

Sage was a burst of life. He had a genuine smile that inspired and shined light on everyone around him. He brought the sun with him in every room he entered. Sage was happy, driven and motivational. He hoped for happiness and peace for all he loved. 

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Sunday, January 23, 2022 at William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, with Michael Scappa, officiating. Viewing will be 12-1:00 PM. Burial will be private.
