Dallastown - Sara Elizabeth Laird, age 94, of Dallastown, died at 7:57 PM Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Heartlands Assisted Living, Severna Park, Maryland. She was the wife of the late Wilbur R. "Bill" Laird.

Born July 13, 1926 in Waverly, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Vivian (Kennedy) Lovelass. She was a graduate and valedictorian of Scott High School and graduated from Penn State University in 1947 earning a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She was a school teacher from 1948 to 1953. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Spry.

Mrs. Laird is survived by a son, John M. Laird, and his wife Debbie, of Severna Park, Maryland and their children; Christopher and Katherine. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill and her son, Thomas S. Laird, but survived by Tom's wife, Susan and three grandchildren, Mary, Caryn, and Amy.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, with her Pastor, Jim Polanzke, officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Wrightsville.
