Scott A. Wisner, age 58, of Manchester Township, York, died at 9:40 AM Thursday, January 2, 2025, at his residence. He was the husband of Heather L. (McDonnell) Wisner with whom he celebrated 35 years of marriage.

Born November 7, 1966, in Hanover, he was a son of Darlene (Becker) Wisner, of Hanover, and the late George L. Wisner.  He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Grove City College, and Master’s Degree in Mathematics from Millersville University.  He retired from Central York Middle School after 35 years of teaching Algebra, and where he also coached Girls Varsity Basketball.  His 35 years of coaching also included Middle School Girls, and Freshman Girls and Boys.  On September 8, 2023, he was inducted into Central York Sports Hall of Fame.

In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Wisner is survived by two sons, Kyle A. Wisner, of Baltimore, Maryland, and Derek I. Wisner, and his wife Lia, of Frederick, Maryland; a daughter, Kelsey E. Wisner, of Nashville, Tennessee; a granddaughter, Vienna, of Frederick, Maryland; and a brother, Steven M. Wisner, and his wife Joey, along with nephews Matt and Jack, of Carlisle.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday January 11, 2025, at Stillmeadow Church of the Nazarene, 400 Stillmeadow Lane, York, with The Rev. Andy Phillips officiating. Visitations will be from 5:00-7:00 PM Friday at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York and from 1:00-2:00 PM Saturday at the Church with the service immediately following. Private burial will be in Saint Paul’s Dubs Union Cemetery in Hanover. Livestream of services will be available at www.facebook.com/KuhnerAssociates
