Sixto Irizarry-Martinez, age 84, of Conewago Township, York, died at 12:50 PM Thursday, August 8, 2024, at UPMC Harrisburg. He was the husband of Maria Torres-Irizarry.

Born November 27, 1939, in Puerto Rico, the son of the late Epifanio Irizarry and the late Genoveah Martinez, and he worked for the State of New Jersey.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Irizarry-Martinez is survived by six children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by two children.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 PM Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Workinger Semmel Funeral Homes and Cremation, 849 East Market Street, York, with Deacon Catalino Gonzalez officiating. Viewing will be from 11:30 AM-1:30 PM. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
