Stacie M. Keeney, age 53, of Loganville, died at 8:09 AM Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at her residence, of natural causes.

Born June 17, 1971, in York, she was a daughter of Leroy M. and Judy (Kehr) Keeney of York.  She was a graduate of Dallastown Senior High School, earned her Bachelor of Art and Science from Millersville University. Her interest in careers then took her to a Degree in Veterinary Medical Technology from Wilson College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from York College of Pa. and Master’s in Business Administration from Florida Institute of Technology.  She was currently employed as a House Supervisor for Wellspan Rehabilitation Hospital and was a member of the National Nursing Association and Codorus Church of the Brethren, Dallastown.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Keeney is survived by a sister, Dina Aubel (Phil); a niece, Alexa Aubel Gohn (Jake), nephew Dane Aubel (Kyrie), grandnephews River Aubel, Abram Gohn, and Grandniece Emersyn Aubel.  She is also survived by her beloved rescues Belgian Malinois, Izzy and Marcelle (Celly).

Stacie enjoyed a life-long love of dogs and horses. She began her riding career at the age of nine and continued to ride all her life. She also trained and showed dogs, beginning as a teen and winning many ribbons for her efforts in Pennsylvania and surrounding states. Her favorite show dog, a Samoyed (Shawne), she trained as both a Certified Therapy Dog and a show dog. His skills won him many ribbons.

Her love of life led her to training as a pilot. She was always thrilled to see the peaceful, as she called it, view from above. Though challenged with Addison’s all her life, she reached out and loved her family and life.

Funeral services are scheduled for 7:00 PM Friday, April 25, 2025, at Codorus Church, 1129 Dunkard Valley Road, Dallastown, with her Pastor, Eric Ritenour, and her uncle Rev. Everette Mason, Christ’s Church, Florida, officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-7:00 PM.  Private burial will be in Codorus Church of the Brethren Cemetery. Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, is in charge of arrangements.
