Steven J. Gumenick

Steven J. Gumenick, age 87, of Springettsbury Township, York, and Fort Myers, Florida, died Friday, September 18, 2026, at his residence in York. He was the devoted husband of Lisa A. (Call) Gumenick, loving father of Jodi Snyder and Samantha Gumenick, grandfather of Maddie and Jack Snyder, and brother of the late Ellen Fasberg and Diane DuBoff.

Born November 11, 1938, in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Jack and Roslyn (Eichner) Gumenick. He earned his Engineering Degree from Georgia Tech and worked in the family-owned clothing business, Doe Spun and later began his career in real estate. He also served in active duty for the Air National Guard.

Funeral services are scheduled 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 South George Street, York, with Melody Davis officiating. Visitation will be 1-2:00 PM. Entombment will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens with flag presentation by the York County Veterans Honor Guard.
